This year saw me in Paris for Paris Photo for the first time ever! I was invited by the British Journal of photography and the British Council to be part of a panel discussion. I was sat alongside fellow photographers Tudor Rhys Etchells and Margarita Galandina to discuss our practices intersect upon theme of identity.

Admittedly I got quite nervous when I saw the audience fill the room, there where a few people sat in front me that I respect and admire. That being said I think it went well as it could, I’ve had a lot of good responses and congrats since. So I am feeling very proud of myself.

On a sidenote I have not been to Paris since I was a teenager! I really enjoyed it this time around, the buzz of Paris Photo has left an impression on me. Maybe I will try and go back next year? That and the Grand Palais is stunning.
